The manufacturer does NOT back up the warranty! Had the futon for a little over a month as seating in my living room. Had a guest five weeks after purchase, they slept on the futon for two days.On the second day, the futon would not return to the seating position but stayed flat.I called the manufacturer who told me that since I didn’t have the paperwork that came with it, they could not open a claim and I was stuck with the defective futon.
