Better than expected I had an older medusa head lamp that had WAAAAY cool looking lamp shades that looked like glass but were plastic but the point is, you couldn’t tell the difference. Forlorn . . . it finally died after being moved several times from place to place. I saw this one and although the it is the cheaper looking plastic . . . Very Happy with my Purchase Super easy to assemble. Slim, sleek, sturdy. You might have to play around with swapping color shades until you get your perfect combo to match the 2/3 light switch option. I used standard LED bulbs. In my opinion, the the pink/green/blue are less bright than the yellow and white. I though the lamp was plenty bright with the minimum two bulbs on, so I had to pick between blue and green, I chose green/pink to be the two, and then blue/yellow/white to be the three.
